Journey Helps

This page features Journey Helps from across the country.

Updated January 23rd, 2015.

List your favorite Journey Help pages or blogs as a comment at the Girl Scout Betsy regular posting page. I will go check your suggestion out and hopefully list it here too. I will put a STAR (*) by any of these I'm told were really good.

ATTN: Because of the new websites going up across the country, many of the pages have changed.

*Girl Scouts of Northern California: 1-2015: The Resource Page has changed - - now it is here: http://www.girlscoutsnorcal.org/troop-resources-library.

*Girl Scouts of Kentucky's Wilderness Trail Journey Pages
Daisies through Ambassadors - - some Ambassador Journeys are yet to be made here. But these guides show meeting-by-meeting examples of activities, etc.

Scruggs East High Wiki: (scroll down to see this now) This page mostly explains the new Volunteer Toolkit, which some councils have right now. It is not everywhere yet.

From the page: "National Girl Scout Council has designed their own form of help for all volunteers. However, right now, it is only available for 4 GS councils: Northeast Texas, Southern Appalachia, Northeast Florida ,and North Carolina (something) Pines. They have created a "Volunteer Toolkit (VKT) that answers questions and a host of others common among new K-5 Girl Scout Troop volunteers. The VKT is a comprehensive digital tool accessible via the new council web platform on home computers, smartphones, and tablets. Authenticated K-5 Troop Leaders will receive unique login credentials to access its host of features. Its current features such as Year Plan, Meeting Plan, and the robust search capability in Resourses section are just three examples of the VTK's power. Like any new product in development, additional features will be launched throughout the year (into MY 2015) once we've accounted for customer satisfaction and assess ongoing volunteer needs," per Vanessa Mansharamani, Senior Adult Experience Developer, Girl Scouts of the USA."
